Nangala women and Jangala men are the ‘kurdungurlu’ (custodians) of this Dreaming. ‘Warrilyi’ (blue mallee) grow alongside spinifex in red sand and on rocky hills. This plant is very fire tolerant; new leaves grow back quickly after fire.
